Style Kadosh Flooring is a hardwood crew serving the Kansas City metro, run by Gustavo and Guilherme. Same people from the estimate to the final walkthrough — no rotating subcontractors, no handoff to someone who never saw your floor.
Our story
Co-owner
Gustavo is usually the first person you talk to — the main number on this site rings his phone, and his is the name that comes up in our Google reviews. He learned hardwood on the job, and he starts every project the same way: look at the floor, work out what happened to it, and only then talk about sanding, repairing or replacing.

Guilherme learned the trade on flooring jobs in New York before moving to Kansas City, and the second number on this site is his. What he brought with him is a habit: the work nobody sees afterward — acclimation, moisture readings, a flat subfloor — gets the same care as the finish you will walk on every day.
Different backgrounds, same rule: tell you what your floor actually needs.
Sometimes that means a full refinish. Sometimes it means replacing a few boards. Sometimes a floor you expected to replace only needs a recoat. We would rather lose the bigger job than sell work the floor does not need.
How we work
You get a written range before anyone touches a board, and change orders only exist if you approve them first. Nobody should learn the real price from the invoice.
We contain the dust at the source and protect the room. When we finish, we clean the areas we worked in — hallways, nearby counters, windows and blinds — so you get the floor back, not a mess to deal with.
Room by room, before we pack up. Anything you are not happy with gets fixed while we are still there, which is the only time fixing it is easy.
What to expect
Send photos or we come out. You get a written range before anyone touches a board — not a number invented on the spot. We carry general liability coverage, so the risk of the job is ours, not yours.
We protect the room, then sand, repair and finish on a schedule you know up front. Staining? You pick from samples on your own floor. We clean up the areas we worked in.
We go room by room together before we pack up. Anything you are not happy with gets fixed before we call it done.
Where we work
Across the Kansas City metro, both sides of the state line — Overland Park, Olathe, Lee’s Summit, Independence and everything in between. There is no showroom — every job happens at your house, which is the only place a floor can honestly be assessed.
